AG Files Complaint Against Propane CompanyJanuary 29, 2014 36Pab, From the Associated Press:Attorney General Jack Conway ha stanley taza s filed a complaint against a propane gas provider in western Kentucky alleging violations of the state Consumer Protection Act.A statement says the complaint was filed Tuesday in Franklin Circuit Court against United Propane Gas Inc.In addition, Conway said the court granted a restraining order that allows customers of UPG and it 23 subsidiaries to get propane from another supplier.The statement said the move came after farmers and residential customers complained about problems with either getting propane from UPG or getting a waiver from the company that allows them to get the gas from another supplier.Conway said many propane suppliers are facing shortages right now, but they are either making partial deliveries or providing waivers to their customers.
